Gas Storage at Iran's Serajeh Facility Reaches 370 mcm

Total gas stored at Iran’s Serajeh gas storage facility has reached 570 mcm, head of the Serajeh Oil and Gas Exploitation Region Seyed Mohammad Hassan Soleimani said.

"While gas storage in the facility reached 220 mcm last year, since the beginning of the current year 350 mcm has been injected to the reservoir," Shana News Agency quoted Soleimani as saying.

Soleimani said gas storage is expected to hit 1.5 bcm for use in winter.

He said during the last two years, 77 and 373 mcm of gas were injected to the facility which has increased to 350 mcm over the first three months of current Iranian calendar year, began 21 March 2013.
