Gasag. E.ON Ink Berlin CNG Stations Deal

German firms Gasag and E.ON have signed a co-operation agreement for ten years to operate seven compressed natural gas filling stations in Berlin, they said April 24. The former Gasag filling stations became the property of E.ON Gas Mobil, an infrastructure provider for CNG mobility in Germany, effective April 1. Gasag continues to supply the fuel and thus guarantees the usual and reliable fuel supply, they said.

Gasag sales head Matthias Trunk said Berlin is "the capital of gas mobility. Gasag has contributed a great deal to this over the years. We are therefore very pleased that together with E.ON Gas Mobil we will now jointly strengthen gas mobility. We stand for a technology-open approach, also in the area of transport, in which the appropriate climate-friendly drive should be available as needed. "

E.ON Gas Mobil CEO Olaf Rumberg said Berlin was a polluted city and E.ON was "proud to be able to offer a significant contribution to the progress of the Berlin traffic revolution together with Gasag."
