GasTerra CFO Leaves Oct 1; No Successor Named

GasTerra's finance chief Maurice de Wilde is leaving the company to take up the same position from October 1 at Koopman Logistics Group in Noordhorn, the Netherlands, said GasTerra August 29.

De Wilde has worked at the Dutch gas marketer since early 2013. Prior to that, he performed various positions at Shell at home and abroad. About his new job he says: "I look forward to this next step in my career."

GasTerra CEO Annie Krist said she regretted his departure. "Maurice has made a significant contribution to the development and efficiency of our organisation. We are grateful to him for that. I wish him good luck in his new workplace."

Koopman Logistics says it is the largest company in Benelux that transports, stores and repairs vehicles and its expansion plans will move ahead faster with the arrival of de Wilde as CFO.

De Wilde's successor is expected to be appointed later this year, GasTerra said. Among the matters left in his intray for his replacement to work on are the long-term gas contract dispute with Italian Eni, which remains the counterparty after it sold in July its Belgian energy retail business to Dutch utility Eneco.
