NGE Notes: Gazprom Says BP Interested in Extending Nord Stream to UK

BP Plc. “has shown an interest” in extending the Nord Stream pipeline to the United Kingdom.

The comment was made by Gazprom chief executive Alexei Miller, during an interview broadcast. The link to the UK may form part of plans for developing additional lines of the pipeline, presently under investigation by the Nord Stream consortium.
