Gazprom looks to Australia as LNG Source
Gazprom is looking toward Austalia as a possible source of supply for its LNG trading operations.
The Russian energy giant, which recently opened an LNG marketing and trading desk in Singapore, is seeking to build access to non-domestic sources.
Gazprom is targeting to build its LNG supply portfolio to 62Mtpa by 2030, with 18Mt expected to be sourced from outside of Russia.
The company recently entered into an MOU for long-term LNG supply of up to 2.5Mtpa of LNG to Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
