GDF Suez Keen on Gujarat Gas Stake

Economic Times reported Monday that GDF Suez is keen to join the race for UK-based energy major BG Group's 65% stake in the Gujarat Gas Co. 

The newspaper said GDF was interested in the stake and had already contacted other bidders.

GDF Suez, Europe's No. 1 natural gas and LNG buyer, has already tasted success in the Indian market from another venture.
