Genesis signs master service agreement with Woodside in Senegal

Genesis, a company owned by Technip Energies, has formed a consortium with Goree Offshore Engineering Senegal to sign a multi-year master service agreement (MSA) for providing integrity management engineering services for the Woodside's Sangomar offshore field in Senegal, it said on July 12.

Under the MSA, Goree will provide local engineering support in Senegal, and Technip Energies will offer in-country support for contract execution. The goal of the agreement is to enhance the performance of the offshore field throughout its lifecycle.

Although primarily an oil production project, Woodside also envisions exporting commercial quantities of natural gas to the shore. Woodside completed the acquisition of the entire participating interest of Sydney-listed Far in the RSSD joint venture in early July 2021.
