"It Is a Global Conflict," Says Ukrainian Prime Minister
Ukraine is voicing its fears for the country and for global security, saying that it is not simply a ‘conflict’ between Kiev and Moscow.
“It’s a global conflict, and it is a global threat. Russia is on the dark side. And our priority is a key priority of the whole world: to stop Russian aggression," Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said on Monday.
Negotiations between Russia and Western countries continue, but it is becoming increasingly clear that Moscow will recur to a more under-the-radar strategy.
Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte. Russian politicians refrained from blunt comments and strong declarations.
Meanwhile, gas flow from Ukraine to Slovakia remains in normal mode.
