Greece Extends Bidding for Gas Distribution Grid
Greece has given bidders an extra week to file expressions of interest (EoIs) in the sale of the distribution network of state gas utility Depa, its privatisation agency Taiped said in a statement on February 12.
The country is seeking bids for 100% of Depa Infrastructure – 65% of which is held by Taiped and 35% by state-owned Hellenic Petroleum. Taiped invited EoIs in December, setting an initial deadline for submission of February 14. This deadline has now been moved to February 21.
Taiped also on January 23 invited companies to submit EoIs in the sale of Depa Commercial, consisting of gas wholesale and retail activities, by no later than March 6.
