Greenpower Energy Completes Perth Basin Seismic Survey

Greenpower Energy Limited has said that it has completed the data acquisition on the Badgingarra 2D Seismic Survey at Greenpower’s EP 447 in the northern Perth Basin.

The company is exploring for conventional and tight gas.

Under an agreement finalised in September 2011, U.S. private equity group UIL Energy is earning an initial 50% interest in EP447 by carrying out the seismic survey, Proactive Investors Australia said.

Western Australia’s Department of Mines and Petroleum has granted a 12 month extension of the permit until 2013 to allow for statutory requirements for Native Title notification for survey lines which extend beyond the boundaries of EP447 into currently vacant ground, Proactive Investors said.

A further 5 year tenure term is under application.
