Hiroshima Gas to Buy LNG from Osaka Gas
Japan’s Hiroshima Gas has signed an agreement to buy 50,000-130,000 tons of LNG per year for 15 years from Osaka Gas starting 2016, the company said Thursday.
Delivery will be ex-ship and Hiroshima Gas will receive partially loaded cargoes at the Yokkaichi LNG terminal, a spokeswoman for Hiroshima Gas told Platts.
Hiroshima Gas bought 365,000 mt of LNG for the fiscal year ended March 31, up 5.2% year on year.
The company believes the new deal would augment stable supplies of the fuel and help respond to increased future demand.
