Novinite: Hundreds of Bulgarians Protest against Shale Gas Exploration
Some 200 people marched in Sofia from the Environment Ministry past Parliament to the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism in protest against shale gas exploration.
The protesters demanded that the controversial hydraulic fracturing technology should be abolished in Bulgaria and called for legislative control over oil-and gas extraction technologies.
