Hyundai Glovis pens LNGC charter deal with Woodside

South Korean shipping company Hyundai Glovis has signed a long-term LNG carrier charter deal with Australian energy company Woodside, it said on April 12 in a statement.

The deal is for 10 years with an option to extend it for another five years. Hyundai Glovis has placed an order with a local shipbuilder to construct the LNG carrier which is expected to be delivered in late 2024, it said. The company added the vessel will deliver LNG produced in Australia to global customers.
