Hyundai Heavy delivers new LNGC to Capital Gas

Greek shipping firm Capital Gas Ship Management has taken delivery of a new LNG carrier built by South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries, it said in a June 15 statement.

The carrier, Aristarchos, with a cargo capacity of 174,000 m3 is equipped with the latest available technologies, including an air lubrication system and increased filling limits, Capital Gas said.

S&P 2023

It is the third of seven ships to be delivered by Hyundai Heavy between 2020-2023. The vessel has been chartered to Cheniere for a period of up to six years.

Capital Gas currently manages a fleet of seven LNG carriers with a total carrying capacity of approximately 1.2mn m3.
