India's gas consumption down 0.4% in June
Indian natural gas consumption in June was down 0.4% year/year to 5.03bn m3, the latest data from the Indian oil and gas ministry's Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) showed. Consumption dropped 4% month/month.
The cumulative consumption of natural gas during the first three months of the 2021-22 financial year (April to March) was 15.51bn m3, up 14.7% yr/yr.
The production of natural gas last month was 2.77bn m3, up 19.5% compared with the corresponding month of the previous year. The cumulative production of natural gas during the first three months of the 2021-22 financial year was 8.17bn m3, up 20.4% yr/yr, the data showed.
