India's gas consumption up 34% in April
Indian natural gas consumption in April came to 5.23bn m3, up 34.5% year/year, the Indian oil and gas ministry's Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) website showed May 20.
The sharp spike in April was due to the lower base in April 2020 when India was under a full lockdown to stop the spread of COVID-19.
