India's LNG Imports Down 14% in Jan
India’s LNG imports in January came in at 2.4bn m3, down 14.3% year/year, according to the latest data published by the Indian oil and gas ministry's Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC). Imports were also down 13.6% month/month.
Between April 2020 and January 2021, imports totalled 27.07bn m3, down 1.2% yr/yr.

LNG imports in January cost some $600mn, down from $800mn in the same month last year. Between April 2020 and January 2021, the import bill was $5.8bn, down from $7.9bn a year earlier, the data showed.
