India's LNG imports drop 13% in April
India’s LNG imports in April came in at 2.47bn m3 (about 1.8mn metric tons), down 13.2% year/year, the country’s oil and gas ministry's Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) website showed on May 24.
The country’s imports were down 5.4% month/month. The LNG imports last month cost $1.3bn, up from $800mn in the same month last year.
