India's LNG imports remain flat in March
India's LNG imports in March came in at 2.97bn m3 (about 2.2mn metric tons), up 0.1% year/year, the data published on April 20 by the Indian oil and gas ministry's Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) showed. Imports were up 5.7% month/month.
During the 12 months to March 31 (FY2020-2021), imports were 32.85bn m3 (about 24mn mt), down 3% yr/yr.

LNG imports in March cost some $800mn, up from $700mn in the same month last year. In FY2020-2021, the import bill was $7.4bn, down from $9.5bn a year earlier, the PPAC data showed.
