India's LNG imports up 11% in June

India's LNG imports reached 2.65bn m3 (approximately 2mn tonnes) in June, up 11.3% year/year, according to provisional data released on July 17 by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

Imports in the first three months of the current financial year, ending in March 2025 (FY2025), totalled 7.8bn m3, up 0.6% year/year.

For the fiscal year ended March 2024 (FY2024), India imported a total of 30.92bn m3 of LNG, up 17.5% year/year, PPAC reported in April.
