India's March Gas Output Up
India’s gross production of natural gas in March 2019 was 2.82bn m3, up 1.2% over the corresponding month of the previous year, according to data published April 26 by Indian oil ministry's Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC).
Natural gas available for sale during March was 4.42bn m3, down 7.4% year-on-year. Total consumption during the month was 4.58bn m3, PPAC said without offering a year-on-year comparison. Regasified LNG accounted for 52% of total gas consumption.
Cumulative natural gas production during the 12-months to March (India’s fiscal year runs from April to March) was 32.65bn m3, up 0.7% year-on-year.
