Indonesia's South Jambi B block flows first gas
The South Jambi B block onshore Sumatra in Indonesia, operated by Hong Kong-based Jindi Group, has flowed first gas, the country’s upstream regulator SKKMigas said on June 29.
The block is producing at a rate of 2mn ft3/day of gas, which will be gradually ramped up to 12mn ft3/day. The gas will be supplied to industries and state-owned PLN’s power plant in Jambi on the island of Sumatra, the regulator said.
