Iran Processed 43 bcm of Gas During First Quarter
Iran processed 43 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas during the first three months of current Iranian calendar year which commenced on March 21.
The refineries also processed 48 million barrels of gas condensate and 739 metric tons of LPG during the period, deputy head of the National Iranian Gas Company said, according to Shana News.
South Pars, Khangiran and Ilam gas refineries treated 253,000 tons of sulfur and 398 metric tons of ethane during the period, Samari said.
During Farvardin, the first Iranian month, gas refineries set a record by processing 538 mcm of natural gas per day, said Samari.
Last year, Iranian refineries processed 168 bcm of natural gas, 25 mcm of gas condensate, a million tons of sulfur, 2 million mt of LPG and 1.5 million mt of ethane, he said.
