Iran To Tender Upstream Projects Oct 17

National Iranian Oil Company has announced it will put the development of some upstream projects out for tender October 17 in order to try to attract foreign investors in the post-sanctions era.

Foreign upstream companies are invited to fill out pre-qualification forms to participate in the upstream oil industry’s tenders, Nioc said. It intends to hold multi-stage tenders for a number of E&P projects. So, "reputable and eligible companies" should fill the applications which will be made available on nioc.ir website as of October 17.

The projects will be transferred in compliance with Iranian law. Applicants are required to email copies of the completed forms by November 19 to ipc@nioc.ir and also send copies to Room 501, 5th fl., 6th Central Building, Hafez St, Karimkhan Avenue, Tehran.

A finalised list of eligible bidders will be posted on December 7 on the abovementioned website.
