Iranian Central Oil Fields Company Offers 14 Oil, Gas Fields for Development
Iran on Sunday offered nine oil fields and five gas fields located in the western part of the country for development.
Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) planning director Saleh Hendi during the Iran Petroleum Contracts (IPC) conference said investors are invited to provide their plans for carrying out IOR/EOR projects so that they can increase their chance of partnership, state owned Shana News reported Sunday.
ICOFC produces 40 percent of Iran’s natural gas.
“The main concern and capital of the officials in oil industry is the issue of improved recovery,” he told Shana.
In September, officials from ICOFC and PETRONAS met to exchange ideas.
A follow-up conference will be held in London on February 22-24 after the IPC event in Tehran.
