Iran's Kish Gas Field to Produce 9 bcm of Gas Every Year
Iran’s Kish gas field is expected to produce 9 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas every year once fully developed, reported Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
Iran Economy Council has decided to allocate $1.4 billion to the development of the field.
Petroleum Engineering and Development Company, which is developing the field, has announced that the first phase of the gas field will come on-stream in winter.
Kish gas field is located below the Kish Island, southwest of the southern Iranian port city of Lengeh and 60 kilometers east of Lavan Island.
