Japan, Russia to Sign LNG Deal
Russia and Japan are likely to sign a deal pertaining to construction of liquefied natural gas plant in Russian city of Vladivostok.
Work on the project is expected to start next year and the plant may begin operation in 2020. The production from the unit is seen at 10 million tons of liquefied natural gas per year.
The project is likely to cost $13 bln and will use gas from Russia’s Sakhalin-1 field.
