Kogas, Sempra to work on LNG, hydrogen

South Korea’s Kogas and Sempra have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop LNG, hydrogen and carbon capture projects, Kogas aid on April 5.

The companies have decided to address the global carbon-neutral issue and expand participation in low-carbon projects, Kogas said.

Kogas is South Korea’s largest LNG importer and operates four import and regasification terminals namely Incheon, Pyeongtaek, Tongyeong and Samcheok. Sempra operates the 12mn metric tons/year Cameron LNG plant in Louisiana and is building ECA LNG Phase 1.
