Kyiv Post: Naftogaz looking at leasing gas storage facilities to gas producers in Ukraine

Ukraine's national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy is studying the possibility of leasing underground gas storage facilities to companies that will produce gas in Ukraine, Deputy CEO of Naftogaz Vadym Chuprun said an interview with the publication Ekonomicheshkiye Ivestiya that will be published on Friday.

"I should also note that we are conducting negotiations not only regarding cooperation in the production of non-traditional hydrocarbon sources, but also in other areas. In particular, the company ExxonMobil has shown interest in utilizing our underground gas storage facilities," he said.

Gas produced by major international companies in Ukraine could be stored in underground gas storage facilities, to be supplied to European consumers in the future, he said. HERE
