Leyshon Resources to Complete Two Zijinshan Wells by November End

Leyshon Resources has said the first of two wells in China's Ordos basin are expected to be completed by the end of November with completion of the third expected in the new year. The total cost for drilling, logging, casing, fracking and flow testing the three wells is estimated at around $5 million.

The wells lie within 10 km of a tie-in point on the Lin-Lin pipeline which supplies the growing demand in Shanxi Province.

Zijinshan is estimated to contain between 1 and 3.8 trillion cubic feet of unconventional gas. Leyshon Resources Limited commenced drilling at the 708 square kilometre Zijinshan block in early October.
