FOCUS: Macedonian Finance Minister: Macedonia will continue the realisation of South Stream

Macedonia will continue with the realisation of the South Stream gas pipeline, as the country urges the European Commission (EC) to start a direct dialogue with Russia for resolving all problems, pointed by the EC, for the realisation of the project, Macedonian Minister of Finance Zoran Stavreski said, Macedonian newspaper Vecer reported.

According to Mr Stavreski, the project not only has serious economic and social importance, but is also vital for improving the competitiveness of the economies of the countries included in the project. “I expect the EC and Gazprom to resolve all issues through an open dialogue,” Mr Stavreski stated.  MORE
