Mediterranean Oil & Gas Transfers Guendalina Production

Italian producer Mediterranean Oil & Gas (MOG) has announced that it has transferred its net production from the Guendalina gas field to Italian utility Energetic, commencing from 1 February 2012.

The production is transferred from MOG's subsidiaries, Medoilgas Italia and Elettrogas. 

MOG holds a 20 per cent stake in the Guendalina gas field, which is located offshore from the northeast of Italy, in the Adriatic Sea. Fellow Italian company Eni holds the other 80 per cent stake and acts as operator for the field.

Eni has placed the proven gas reserves at 526MMscm (million metric standard cubic metres) and probable gas reserves in the field at 631 MMscm.
