NGE Notes: Miller, Scaroni meet to discuss progress of South Stream pipeline

The chief executives of Gazprom and ENI met Monday to discuss  the final investment decision on the South Stream pipeline project.

Gazprom's Alexey Miller Chairman and ENI's Paolo Scaroni discussed the preparations for the adoption of the project by a final investment decision on the marine part of the project.

The two parties also confirmed their interest to continue the dialogue on key areas of bilateral cooperation on joint projects in third countries.

Gazprom plans to start the construction of the South Stream gas pipeline in December 2012, with first deliveries of the gas pipeline scheduled for late 2015.
