MOECO Interested in Myanmar Oil, Gas Sector

Mitsui Oil Exploration Company Limited (MOECO) has been in talks with Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) for investment potential in oil and gas sector of Myanmar.

Senior officials from the Japanese oil and gas exploration firm met with officials of DICA and mainly discussed about gas and oil exploration, Elevem Myanmar reported.

Similarly, Brunei National Petroleum Company expressed their interest to work in Myanmar natural gas and oil sector last week, the report said.
