Forbes: Morocco Eyes Mediterranean Oil & Gas with Offshore Deal

Continuing their push for more energy diversity, Morocco inked an agreement with an Abu Dhabi firm to explore offshore oil and gas potential in the Mediterranean.

According to local media reports, Morocco’s Office National des Hydrocarbures et des Mines (ONHYM) completed an deal with UAE’s Mubadala Petroleum Company, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi’s state-owned Mubadala Development Company, to pursue possible exploration and production efforts off the country’s northern coast.
