FT: Mozambique prepares to harness vast gas reserves
Nuno Remane barely conceals his excitement as he points to designs for “Palma, the City of Gas”. Covering 18,000 hectares and projected to house 250,000 people, the planned conurbation will be home to a giant liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant and a range of energy-intensive industries, plus golf courses, shopping malls and hotels.
