Focus: Agreement between Nabucco International Company and TANAP is positive development in Bulgaria's benefit

Strategic agreement of Nabucco International Company and Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline (TANAP, pipeline through Turkey) is a positive development in Bulgaria’s advantage, as TANAP is strategic child of Azerbaijan and Turkey. That is what national coordinator for Nabucco, Petar Popchev said for FOCUS News Agency. 

“The agreement was signed on March 4, Monday in Vienna. The middle of the year is the conventional date for Shah Deniz consortium to make final selection between Nabucco-West and TAP”, Popchev added. 

“I do not think the parliament will be a break for implementation of the project, when the international consortium set the dates. Result of the sitting on January 10 and the other one on January 18 of the Nabucco Committee are the two signed agreements between Nabucco International Company and the four companies represented by Shah Deniz”, Popchev commented.  MORE
