NGE Notes: Gazprom, Ukraine discuss long-term cooperation and uninterrupted transit of gas during winter at meeting

Gazprom announced a meeting was held today between Gazprom Chair Alexey Miller and Ukraine's Minister of Energy and Coal Industry, Yuriy Boyko.

The Russian gas giant said that the two parties discussed the prospects for long-term cooperation in the gas sector. 

In addition, special attention was paid to ensuring uninterrupted transit of Russian gas through Ukraine to customers in Europe the ensuing winter, with the reserves of gas in underground storage facilities in Ukraine.
