Noble Energy ups Leviathan Estimate
Noble Energy revised higher its natural gas estimate of the Leviathan gas project offshore of Israel.
The announcement came after the company got the results from another appraisal well.
The well has an increased gross mean estimate of 17 trillion cubic feet, in a range between 14 trillion cubic feet and 20 trillion cubic feet.
Originally, the company estimated that the well had about 16 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.
Noble Energy operates Leviathan and holds a 39.66 percent interest. Delek Drilling and Avner Oil Exploration hold 22.67 percent stakes and Ratio Oil Exploration owns the remainder.
