Voice of Russia: Nord Stream shareholders willing to participate in its expansion
Practically, all shareholders of Nord Stream are willing to participate in its expansion, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Board of Directors Alexander Medvedev told journalists.
"Practically, all participants, including both Nord Stream’s first branch and its second branch, said they were interested. That is why the number of participants is big", Medvedev said. "We choose all those who could contribute to the project", he added.
Speaking about the prospects for involving the Gaz de France Company (GDF) in this project, Medvedev said that there was no deadline for that, and that everything depended on additional gas volumes.
