Nord Stream To Close For Two-week Repairs
The Nord Stream gas pipeline, one of the main route for Russian gas supplies into Europe, is due to shut down on July 16 for annual repairs.
The 55bn m³/yr pipeline running from Russia to Germany will come back on stream on July 30. Its customers were notified well in advance, the project’s operator said.
Russia’s Gazprom owns a 51% stake in Nord Stream. Its partners are Germany’s Wintershall and Uniper, the Netherland’s Gasunie and France’s Engie.
