Novatek reports uptick in gas output in 2022

Russia's Novatek expanded natural gas production by 2.8% in 2022 to 82.14bn m³, the company reported on January 16. 

Overall hydrocarbon output was up 2% at 1.75mn barrels of oil equivalent/day, while gas sales, including LNG, came to 76.55bn m³, up 1%.

Novatek is the second biggest gas producer in Russia and its largest LNG exporter.
