Ukrainian Journal: Olesska shale gas deposit production deal with Chevron expected June 1

Ukraine will probably sign a production sharing agreement with Chevron over development of Olesska shale gas deposit by June 1, Environment and Natural Resources Minister Oleh Proskuriakov said.

The latest timeframe shows the government expects an almost one-month delay from earlier estimates of when the PSA is likely to be signed.

“I think it is quite realistic to sign the agreement by June 1, of course, provided that there is an approval from a local council,” Proskuriakov said.  MORE
