ONGC in CBM Partnership Discussions

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation is in negotiations to sell stakes in its coal-bed methane blocks.

The Indian state-owned company is in discussions with Dart Energy Corporation, Essar Oil and Great Eastern Energy Corporation Ltd.

ONGC Chairman A.K. Hazarika said that the firms were specialized in the coal-bed methane sector and well placed to assist the company in extracting the form of unconventional gas.
