Daily News: Tanzania - Much Care Needed to Handle Our Gas Riches
The Minister for Energy and Minerals, Mr George Simbachawene, on Monday came out with good news on another discovery of natural gas fields off the southern Tanzanian coastline by a Norwegian energy firm Statoil.
According to the minister Statoil's exploration found the resource that boosts the country's gas volumes by 1.0-1.8 trillion cubic feet (tcf).
