Ormil Energy Expands Footprint in Botswana CBM Space
Ormil Energy has said that its Botswana subsidiary Baobab Resources has been awarded a new exploration licence covering 23,700 square kilometres in the Ngamiland and Central districts. The license would be valid for four years from October 1. Baobab Resources is part of Energy Botswana.
The new license is in addition to the existing coal bed methane prospects in the country held by Nata Energy, which is part of recently acquired Energy Botswana and is a wholly owned subsidiary.
Ormil plans to drill several wells and undertake testing work over the next 12 months.
