Pavilion imports Singapore's 1st carbon neutral LNG

Pavilion Energy has imported Singapore’s first carbon neutral LNG cargo, the company said on April 15.

Carbon emissions associated with the LNG cargo will be offset by retiring carbon credits sourced from Pavilion's portfolio of carbon offset projects. These projects – Evio Kuinaji Ese'Eja Cuana in Peru and Liangdu Afforestation in China – are certified under the Verified Carbon Standard and Climate, Community and Biodiversity Standard.
