Pertamina Eyeing Oil and Gas Blocks in Iraq

Pertamina is planning to aim for one of the oil and gas blocks offered up by the Iraqi government, the company said Thursday.

It will conduct a proper exploration as soon as a contract with the Iraqi government is signed.

The exploration will be carried out to accurately calculate the potential oil reserves in the block. 

Iraq has offered Pertamina to manage oil and gas blocks of which production has halted since the war in 1999.
