PetroChina, Sinopec Ink Gas, Oil Deal With Zhejiang Government
Chain Securities Journal reported Wednesday that PetroChina and China Petroleum & Chemical Corp (Sinopec) have signed an agreement with the Zhejiang government on six petrochemical projects worth $22 billion.
The agreement deals with the development of natural gas and oil supplies.
PetroChina along with Zhejiang government would promote a project in Taizhou and would build compressed natural gas and liquefied natural gas plants for PetroChina Kunlun Gas Co and Quzhou government.
Role of Sinopec would be to develop a natural gas pipeline between Xinjiang and Zhejiang, and Wenzhou Sinopec LNG projects.
