PGNiG, FX Energy Drill to Accelerate Production at Lisewo

Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) and partner FX Energy, Inc. have started drilling the Lisewo-2 well development well targeting the Lisewo structure previously discovered by the Lisewo-1 well.

Lisewo-2 is intended to accelerate production from the structure where reserves are estimated to total 25 billion cubic feet of gas.

Output from the Lisewo-1 and Lisewo-2 wells, together with the nearby Komorze-3 well, will be processed at an on site facility prior to being fed via pipeline into the gas network near Grodzisk Wielkopolski in western Poland.

The Lisewo production facility is scheduled to begin producing about the end of September.

The partners are also undertaking site preparation at the Szymanowice-1 well, which is expected to start drilling around the end of September.

The wells are located in the Fences concession where the PGNiG is the operator and holds 51% working interest with FX Energy holding a 49% working interest.
